Tripadvisor reviews API documentation
We provide a simple to setup REST API that returns reviews in JSON format. Before integrating the API you should be aware of the following:
- The Tripadvisor API returns 10 reviews per request.
- The order in which reviews are returned is by descending date(from newest to oldest).
- You can get all reviews from a single place by using the
offsetparameter.
To get reviews from Wextractor you will need to perform GET requests against
the https://wextractor.com/api/v1/reviews/tripadvisor endpoint.
Reviews endpoint parameters:

"text": "Hotel Edison was one of the greatest hotels I stayed at while travelling the nation. The décor of the lobby and rooms is reminiscent of the 1930s, and the hotel has a history of being used in movies dating back to Luca Brasi's appearance in The Godfather. The pillows in my room were the fluffiest, and the breakfasts for the group were always great. The security and customer service were first-rate, guaranteeing that there was personnel available around-the-clock to confirm the legitimacy of each visitor. You could get along well with the officers who are also checking you in during that time. I want to give special gratitude to Keith for informing us about the most recent events taking place in Edison (specifically telling my mother and me to drink what we could during the happy hour). And Laura for making it simple for us to enter our rooms (the stairwell was also easy to traverse, especially on level 2). Because my travelling party was getting ready to perform a show in Atlanta and needed time to rehearse, the entire week I was there was packed with ups and downs. As a result, I want to thank Hotel Edison for serving as our home base at the end of long days spent sightseeing, performing, or rehearsing, as well as for housing my highs and lows while staying in New York. I would visit you guys again if I ever came back.",

"title": "Wonderful 70th Anniversary Weekend- its a 10#",
"text": "My parents stayed at the Hotel Edison in 1951 on their honeymoon and came back to celebrate their 70th anniversary . They were treated like roylaty by the entire staff and i can not say enought wonderful things about the hotel and the staff . The customer service can not be beat and the staff can not do enough for their guests . The hotel is very old time elegant and the rooms are nice and clean and Covid safe. They upgraded my mom and dad to a suite which was lovely adn due to their age they had a walk in shower , which was very thoughful. Security is tight , you can not get up to the rooms withought a key car , which you also need for the elevator . My parents raved about the staff and the service that they received . The Edison had a team meeting before my parents arrival to let the staff know about the special occassion , so everyone greeted them by name and congratulated them on their anniversary .Special thanks to Scott and Rommel for making this a perfect weekend . MY parents are planning on returning for the 75th . i live in Manhattan and am going to send all of my out of town guests to The Hotel Edison because it is beautiful, clean and safe and they treat everyone like family . Thank you to all the staff as you made this weekend so special !!!",

"title": "Iconic NYC Hotel",
"text": "The Hotel Edison is such an iconic hotel in New York. So much history embodied in that building. My family and I were fortunate enough to spend New Year’s at the Edison, it was an incredible experience. One cannot get any closer to the action. The staff at the Edison made all the difference during our stay, Scott Geres, the GM was so professional and accommodating. Also, Danny O’Brien, the Director of Security, was so attentive to our needs. Both Scott and Danny made our stay simply unforgettable, and my family and I cannot thank them enough. We cannot wait to go back to NYC.",

"title": "NYC Gem in the Heart of the Theater District",
"text": "I've stayed at Hotel Edison several times and the most recent visit didn't disappoint! It's unbeatable for location if your trip includes theater. A short walk to all Broadway houses and plentiful dining choices. The rooms are a great size (especially for NYC) and the beds and bedding are comfy. Easy check-in and check-out with a very pleasant and attentive staff throughout our stay. Plenty of (fast) elevators which can often be a drawback at some hotels. Also appreciate how this older hotel has been maintained and love the Art Deco design from the murals to the expansive lobby area (where they now offer a complimentary wine hour). Never feels like a chain hotel but something special in the heart of the city. Vouchers for free to-go breakfast or minimal charge for a sit-down breakfast at associated restaurants are great. Will definitely return (again)!",

"title": "Hotel Edison - a hidden gem! Location location location!",
"text": "Don't sleep on Hotel Edison! The location and staff are TOP NOTCH! This was our first time in NYC and Hotel Edison made it a breeze! Grab and go breakfast was great - especially when traveling with a family! Free bottled water in the room (refilled as requested and with daily turndown) was a nice touch. The hotel concierge and front desk staff were beyond helpful in arranging anything you needed. Location, location, location - this hotel was right in Times Square and a breeze to get anywhere.\n\nKeep in mind, this is a historic hotel and is in the process of being updated (we had 3 rooms, one updated, 2 not yet updated, but still all very nice accommodations), but that is made very clear when researching the hotel. Overall, highly recommended for a stay in NYC. Thank you, Hotel Edison and staff - we will see you again soon!",

"title": "A good location, but beware hidden tax and “upgrade” at significant cost.",
"text": "Arrived for a 7 day visit and immediately we were greeted with a request to pay tax. This was not mentioned by Love Holidays who we booked with. We had to pay around £$300 in tax plus we were offered an upgrade to a “superior” room for an additional $120. All in all, $420 we didn’t plan on spending which had a SIGNIFICANT impact on our remaining spending on a holiday we’d been looking forward to. \n\nThe room is VERY basic. Had to keep the clothes on the case as there are just 2 small drawers. 3 coat hangers are provided in a cupboard which holds safe, iron, ironing board. There is a fridge, coffee making and 2 x water bottles daily. \n\nBreakfast is included - but it’s very limited. You have 3 choices. Friedman’s restaurant if you pay a $5 fee plus service charge each for a VERY limited menu. \n\nBond 45 for a free “grab and go” of 3 items ( coffee, bacon and egg hot sandwich, croissant) \n\nCarve ( down the street) for a slice of pizza and a drink) Free) \n\nFor all the above, you’ll get a voucher each daily on checking in. \n\nHotel room is Clean and room service is daily and good. Clean towels every day and lovely staff. \n\nRoom is TINY. For an extra $120 I would have expected much better. As I say, zero storage. TV is very limited in channels, bathroom is ok, but tatty, outlook from window is into another room and zero view. Noise from air on outside is intrusive and necessitates ear plugs in order to sleep. \n\nAs I say, location is ideal, but I’d not use again.",

"text": "I checked out a week ago and the hotel is still not answering my emails and calls to obtain a simple copy of my bill.\n\nThe receptionist refused to give an invoice when I checked out.but the hotel has debited my credit card. \n\nNoisy hotel, staff overall not very welcoming. It’s a factory.",

"text": "Find that the reception was very good from the valet to the reception. Couldn't say anything wrong about it . was very efficient.\nThe rooms were clean and was cleaned daily, with no exception. Since the last time we went years ago ,the hotel has been completely renovated with class . Daily breakfast very good, which was included. Choice to sit in the restaurant or grab and go.\n\nThe hotel is very centered, just around the corner to times square. Would go back anytime without hesitations.",

"text": "We stayed at the Edison for 3 days in January and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and very clean. The location is great for theatergoers! We saw 2 great shows within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. So many shows- so little time!",

"title": "Hotel Edison: Great stay and walkable everywhere",
"text": "This is our second time staying at the Hotel Edison, January 2022 and Jan 2023. \nThe service, rooms, and cleanliness were outstanding and remain so over time. Occasionally you can hear doors slam, but there were also lots of youth travel groups in 2023. The Streetwise New York Tours, walking tours, offered free by the hotel are well worth it. Our guide, David, was funny, knowledgeable, and flexible. Last, the restaurants and bar in the hotel are great eats! We look forward to our next stay in the fall!",

You need to perform multiple requests incrementing the offset until you get a response without any reviews in it.
Yes, since Tripadvisor is pretty strict at blocking requests you will be rate limited if you perform more than one request per second.
